AJ JORDAN

AJ Jordan is a photographer in the NYC metropolitan area. They've been working in NYC since 2017, but have snapped photos daily since 2012. They are best known for their work photographing Sasha Velour's Nightgowns, the award winning drag & burlesque collective Switch 'n' Play, and numerous other drag shows and artists throughout Brooklyn. They have a passion for capturing the emotions of live art and creating unique portraits of performers. Their work has been featured in Paper Magazine, Dazed, Entertainment Weekly, Nylon, Billboard, them, Time Out New York, the WOW report, Fashion Photo RuView, and more. Their collaborations include photographing a poster for NYFW 2018 show The Gift of Showz with Opening Ceremony and Sasha Velour, the single cover for Aja's "I Ain't Left", and photographing a poster for 2019 documentary "A Night at Switch 'n' Play". In their spare time, they like to hang out with other people's dogs and make gluten free baked goods.
